Britta Raci drops playful, cinematic video for “i could do it too”
Britta Raci, Los Angeles native and solo artist formerly of the local band It’s Butter, released a video for her single “i could do it too.” The video portrays Britta at her own birthday party where her cheating ex boyfriend shows up with his new girl. Revenge is exacted to the new girlfriend (played by a mannequin) in between scornful glares from Britta. Directed by Preston Maestri, the video is playful and cinematic. It’s a perfect match for the chill indie pop friskiness the song presents, hiding the lyrical sadness and moments of desperation just below the surface. Originally released in the summer of 2023, “i could do it too” is Britta’s third single since It’s Butter ended. Expect to see more from this infectiously talented artist. Enjoy the video below!
